“Lina and her family have built an outstanding business over the past 46 years. In line with public expectations they saw the
need to diversify into free range hens for egg production.
Building a new free range facility with the latest technology grading machine system capable of 108,000 eggs per hour.
During covid-19 they established a home delivery service by 3 of their own delivery trucks, also at this time with help of other local businesses they supplied 3,500 families with eggs as well as donating 43,000 eggs to Food Bank.
The judges were impressed with accounting, social media, O.H& S. and staff induction procedures with the emphasis on working in an open and respectful manner.
We found the staff to be a very happy bunch with a lot of pride in the company.
A great established family business with exciting growth plans for their future.”
